SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Park In-Lieu Fees and Transfer of Funds.

WHEREAS, during 2015 a park-lieu fee was collected for Oak Grove of Gahanna and should have been deposited to the Park In-Lieu fund established by City Charter for the deposit and use of these funds; and
WHEREAS, in error the deposit was made to the Park Fund which is a separate fund established by City Charter for park fees collected as part of the building permit process; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance is requesting a supplemental appropriation in the amount of $44,466 to Park fund Transfers, Account 327.431.5944 to transfer the amount collected to the Park In-Lieu Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance is also requesting authorization to transfer the funds from the Park Fund - 327 to the Park In-Lieu Fund - 328.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of FORTY FOUR THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTY SIX DOLLARS ($44,466) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Park Fund to Account No. 327.431.5944, Parks Fund Transfers.
Section 2. That the Director of Finance is authorized to transfer the funds from the Park Fund - 327 to the Park In-Lieu Fund - 328.
Section 3. That ORD-0136-2015, passed December 21, 2015, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
