TO AUTHORIZE THE DIRECTOR OF FINANCE TO REDUCE APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE WATER CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT FUND.

WHEREAS, a year-end analysis of the proprietary funds determined that appropriations to transfer $3,500,000 from the Water Capital Improvement Fund were higher than they should be based on the ending balance of the Water Capital Improvement Fund; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance is requesting authorization to reduce appropriations in the Water Capital Improvement Fund Transfer to Sewer Fund 652.351.5940 by $700,000 and the Water Capital Improvement Fund Transfer to Sewer Capital Improvement 652.351.5942 by $400,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized to reduce appropriations from the Water Capital Improvement Fund in the amount of $1,100,000 from accounts:
- Water Capital Improvement Fund Transfer to Sewer Fund - 652.351.5940 by $700,000
- Water Capital Improvement Fund Transfer to Sewer Capital Improvement - 652.351.5942 by $400,000
Section 2. That ORD-0136-2015, passed December 21, 2015, is hereby amended to reflect this appropriation reduction.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
