TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH LIFE TIME FITNESS, INC., FOR RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF GAHANNA SWIM POOL MEMBERSHIP FOR THE YEAR 2016.

WHEREAS, the City would like to offer members of Life Time Fitness an opportunity to have rights and privileges at the Gahanna Aquatics Facilities for a discounted rate as an additional amenity to their Life Time Fitness Center Memberships; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Parks and Recreation is recommending we proceed with an agreement for the 2016 season; and
WHEREAS, in return for these discounted membership privileges Life Time Fitness, Inc., will pay the City $30,000 for the 2016 season to be paid in monthly installments.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Gahanna Swimming Pool Agreement with LIFE TIME FITNESS, INC., 2902 Corporate Place, Chanhassen, Minnesota 55317, for use of the Gahanna Swim Pool Membership for 2016; said agreement attached to this Ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
