TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH ABC RESTROOMS FOR THE RENTAL OF PORTABLE RESTROOM UNITS THAT WILL BE PLACED IN VARIOUS CITY PARKS AND AT SPECIAL EVENTS FOR THE 2016-2018 SEASON.

WHEREAS, the City received three proposals to contract with a portable restroom company to provide residents the service; and
WHEREAS, ABC restrooms provided the lowest rate in their proposal at a rate of $80 per rentable unit; and
WHEREAS, the portable restroom units will be placed in various city parks and at special events during the 2016-2018 seasons.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with ABC Restrooms, 5069 Harrisburg Pike, Grove City, Ohio 43123, for rental of portable restroom units to be placed in various city parks and at special events for the 2016-2018 season, said agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That sufficient funds will be set aside in the 2016 Appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
