TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO RENEWAL CONTRACT WITH FIREPROOF RECORDS CENTER FOR OFFSITE STORAGE OF CERTAIN RECORDS.

WHEREAS, the existing contract with Fireproof Records Center was executed in 1992 and has been automatically renewed every three years since that time; and
WHEREAS, Fireproof Records Center has asked that we execute a renewal contract and it is the recommendation of the Records Administrator and the Clerk of Council that this be done.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with FIREPROOF RECORDS CENTER, P. O. Box 1150, Grove City, OH 43123, for offsite storage of certain records, said contract attached as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That sufficient funding is available in Account No. 101.123.5401, Records Administration, Office Expense, to cover said contract.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
