TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH PIGSKIN BREWING COMPANY, LLC FOR THE USE OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, the City is the owner of certain premises located in the City of Gahanna; and
WHEREAS, Pigskin Brewing Company, the owner of an adjacent leased space, is requesting to maintain at their expense the City’s space for storage purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined the space not necessary for any public purpose at this time; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward with this legislation all for the preservation of the public peace, property, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized the enter into Lease Agreement for property located at 81 Mill St. Suite 150, as more particularly described in EXHIBIT A attached hereto and incorporated herein, with Pigskin Brewing Company, ADDRESS 81 Mill St. said Lease Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT B, and made part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
