SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - TriTech New Software.
Body
WHEREAS, the software module from TriTech will allow the virtual dispatching of police responders among agencies sharing one common platform; and
WHEREAS, this is a permissible use in accordance with the Department of Justice guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the total project cost is approximately seventy thousand dollars ($70,000); and
WHEREAS, half of the project costs will be paid from FLETF funds provided by the City of Whitehall in the amount of thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of THIRTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($35,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Federal Law Enforcement Trust Fund to Account No. 235.211.5512, FLETF - Capital, software proposal quotation attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That ORD-0163-2014, passed December 15, 2014, is hereby amended to reflect these supplemental appropriations.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
