TO ACCEPT MONIES SEIZED IN THE AMOUNT OF $593 AND AWARDED TO THE GAHANNA POLICE PURSUANT TO COURT ORDER NO. 13CV-13035; AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $454 TO THE LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND.

WHEREAS, Case 13CV-13035, involved the seizure of $593 on October 4, 2013, which was awarded to the City; and
WHEREAS, to comply with the various Court Orders to distribute part of the proceeds to the Prosecuting Attorney, Franklin County, Ohio, and Court costs to the Franklin County Common Pleas Clerk of Courts, a supplemental appropriation is needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That we hereby accept funds in the amount of $593.
Section 2. That FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY FOUR DOLLARS ($454) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Law Enforcement Trust Fund to Account No. 225.211.5411, LETF, Police, Law Enforcement Expense.
Section 3. That ORD-0163-2014, passed December 15, 2014, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
