TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH CENTURY EQUIPMENT FOR PURCHASE OF A TORO WIDE AREA MOWER FROM THE STATE CONTRACT.

WHEREAS, the Golf Course is in need of a replacement mower, and we can purchase one off State Contract #800261-STS515; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department's Toro Groundsmaster mower has reached a rating of 1.107 with anything rating 1 is considered used up;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Purchase Agreement with CENTURY EQUIPMENT, 4199 Leap Road, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, for purchase of a Toro Groundsmaster Mower from State Contract #800261-STS515.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTY THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED FOUR DOLLARS ($60,904) has been set aside in the 2015 appropriations to Account No. 101.512.5515, General Fund Equipment Replacement Program, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
