TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH GEORGE AND VIVIAN PARKER FOR BIG WALNUT TRAIL, SECTION 5.
BODY
WHEREAS, the City being provided this easement to facilitate Section 5 of the Big Walnut Trail in exchange for the City vacating an existing easement in the cross easement agreement authorized by ORD-0153-2004; and
WHEREAS, the new easement location is a vital link for the mainline alignment of the Big Walnut Trail; and
WHEREAS, the current easement area is not conducive to the construction of the main trail due to the large wetland area in this section;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO;
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into easement agreement with GEORGE AND VIVIAN PARKER, owners for the Big Walnut Trail, Section 5; Deed of Easement attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
