TO AMEND CHAPTER 138, DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, several years ago charter changes were made amending the charter to remove specificity regarding some departments and directors; and
WHEREAS, at that time it was agreed that code sections would be updated to reflect the removal of some items from the charter; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney and the administration have reviewed this code section and it is now time to enact the necessary changes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 138, Department of Human Resources, of the Codified Ordinances is hereby adopted as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 138, Department of Human Resources, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
