TO AMEND CHAPTER 563, PARK CONDUCT, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA TO ENACT RULES FOR THE NEW SKATE PARK; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the Director of Parks & Recreation and the Parks & Recreation Board have recommended the addition of rules specific to The BASE At Shull Park; and
WHEREAS, Council has reviewed these rules and concurs that they should be added to Chapter 563, Park Conduct; and
WHEREAS, The BASE at Shull Park is open and operational and it is deemed appropriate to have these rules placed in force as quickly as possible, all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Chapter 563, Park Conduct, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapter 563, Park Conduct, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
