TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - General Fund for Mayor’s Court Contract Services
BODY
WHEREAS, Mayor’s Court is legally required to provide interpreter services when requested; and
WHEREAS, Mayor’s Court has experienced an increase in requests for interpreter services and an increase in service costs; and
WHEREAS, the 2023 budgeted amount of $4,000 has been expended; and
WHEREAS, the Administration requests $15,200 in supplemental appropriations to provide interpreter services for Mayor’s Court.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of fifteen thousand two hundred ($15,200) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the General Fund (1010) to the account as follows:
101.04.000.5205 Mayor’s Court Contract Services: $15,200
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
