SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Water Line Easement, Taylor Road

WHEREAS, the City Engineer through funds appropriated in ORD-0115-2002 has been negotiating with property owners on Taylor Road for the right of way necessary for the improvement of Taylor Road at Eastgate; and
WHEREAS, an eminent domain taking was instituted for property owned by Ruth E. Junkerman and $27,790 was deposited with the Clerk of Court of Franklin County; and
WHEREAS, this case has now been settled for $39,210 and a supplemental appropriation is needed for these funds; and
WHEREAS, the $27,790 deposited with the Clerk of Courts of Franklin County has been returned to the City and deposited in the General Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That THIRTY NINE THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TEN DOLLARS ($39,210) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the Water Fund to Account No. 651.350.5596, Capital Projects, Water.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2003, passed January 2, 2003, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance will be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
