TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH SPEEDWAY LLC, SUPERFLEET FOR PURCHASE OF FUEL.

WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna began utilizing Speedway's SuperFleet program to purchase fuel in 2011 when the decision was made to remove Gahanna's fuel; and
WHEREAS, the City was able to modify our contract rate to equal the City of Columbus' contract rate which constitutes a savings;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract for purchase of fuel with SPEEDWAY LLC SUPERFLEET, 500 Speedway Drive, Enon, Ohio 45323; Program Agreement attached as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding was set aside in the 2014 Appropriations to Account No. 101.512.5316, Fleet Maintenance Gas and Oil, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
