TO ADOPT RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, DATED AUGUST 2, 2011.

WHEREAS, the current Civil Service Rules and Regulations were adopted by ORD-0203-2010; and

WHEREAS, the Civil Service Commission recommended and submitted revisions to the rules to City Council dated August 2, 2011;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That this Council hereby adopts the RULES AND REGULATIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, OHIO, revised August 2, 2011 as an official document of the City of Gahanna; said Rules and Regulations attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.

Section 2.  That rules of the Civil Service Commission adopted by ORD-0203-2010 will no longer be in effect after adoption of the rules dated August 2, 2011.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
