TO AMEND ORD-0005-2012, AS AMENDED BY ORD-0020-2012, WHICH PROVIDES RATES OF PAY AND BENEFITS FOR PART TIME PERSONNEL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA FOR THE PERIOD JANUARY 1, 2012, THROUGH DECEMBER 31, 2012.

WHEREAS, ORD-0005-2012, as amended by ORD-0020-2012, passed January 2, 2012 established salaries and benefits for the part time personnel of the City; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Human Resources has recommended two changes to the ordinance; that the GIS Intern position be titled GIS Technician, and that employees who transfer to a lateral position not be required to complete a new probationary period;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That Article II, Pay Ranges of ORD-0005-2012, as amended, and Article V, Probationary Period of ORD-0005-2012, as amended, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended as shown in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
