WHEREAS, Gahanna has a vibrant, exhilarating group of senior citizens who participate in many community service projects as well as events sponsored by our senior citizen program and others throughout Central Ohio; and
WHEREAS, Gahanna wishes to honor and commend these fine people who have given of their time and talents to all of us; and
WHEREAS, May 17, 2000 has been set aside as Senior Citizen Day in Gahanna;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna, wish to honor our senior citizens and thank them for the rich part they play in our community.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council.
