TO AMEND CHAPTERS 1311, REGISTRATION, 1319, APARTMENT SECURITY REGULATIONS, 1329, STORAGE BUILDING AND SHEDS, 1331.11, RAT PROOFING, AND 1333, SATELLITE EARTH STATION OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, the Department of Planning and Development has reviewed Part Thirteen, Building Code; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning and Development has recommended that changes are necessary to ensure that it is still relevant and applicable with the current market environment; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Planning and Development recommends these amendments in order to avoid conflicts and redundancy with the state building code; and
WHEREAS, the administration and this Council have reviewed the recommendations and are in agreement with the changes as proposed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby amends Chapters 1311, Registration, 1319 Apartment Security Regulations, 1329, Storage Building and Sheds, 1331.11, Rat Proofing, and 1333, Satellite Earth Station, of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Gahanna as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.
Section 2. That existing Chapters 1311, Registration, 1319 Apartment Security Regulations, 1329, Storage Building and Sheds, 1331.11, Rat Proofing, and 1333, Satellite Earth Station, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
