TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO A THREE YEAR AGREEMENT WITH ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS RESEARCH INSTITUTION (ESRI) FOR SMALL MUNICIPALITY AND COUNTY ENTERPRISE LICENSE AGREEMENT FOR GIS SOFTWARE.

WHEREAS, the City wishes to continue to have access to GIS software on an unlimited basis, including maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Technology has recommended that we renew this agreement with ESRI; and
WHEREAS, there is no change in price from the previous 3 year agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with ENVIRONMENTAL SYSTEMS RESEARCH INSTITUTION, INC., 380 New York St. Redlands, CA 92373-8100, for Small Municipality and County Enterprise License Agreement for GIS software, for the three years (36 months); said Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding is set aside in the 2018 Appropriations to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That sufficient funds will be appropriated in 2019 & 2020 to cover the balance of this agreement.
Section 4. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
