Title
TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH EVANS MECHWART HAMBLETON & TILTON FOR SURVEY WORK FOR THE WEST GAHANNA GATEWAY ENTRY LANDSCAPE PROJECT; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY.

WHEREAS, it has been recommended by the City Engineer and the Director of Development that we move forward with the survey work for the West Gahanna Gateway Entry Landscape Project; and
WHEREAS, Evans, Mechwart, Hambleton & Tilton Inc. has submitted their proposal for this work;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with Evans, Mechwart, Hambleton & Tilton, Inc. for the survey work required for the West Gahanna Gateway Entry Landscape Project, said agreement attached hereto as Exhibit A.
Section 2. That the amount of Ten Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($10,600) was set aside in the 1999 Appropriations to Account Number 101.343.5511, Capital Projects, Development.
Section 3. That, for the reasons set forth in the preamble hereinabove, this ordinance is declared emergency legislation and shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and approval by the Mayor.
