TO AMEND SECTION 1123.01, DEFINITIONS GENERALLY; INTERPRETATION, OF CHAPTER 1123, DEFINITIONS, OF THE CODIFIED ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA

WHEREAS, at the request of the Zoning Administrator, the Planning Commission has reviewed amendment to the section of code on Definitions Generally, Interpretation; and

WHEREAS, it is prudent to update the code to include the most recent edition of the specific books listed; and

WHEREAS, Planning Commission has reviewed this section, initiated changes, and recommended said changes to City Council; and

WHEREAS, Council held Public Hearing on August 7, 2006, said meeting held pursuant to notice and according to law;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That Section 1123.01, Definitions Generally; Interpretation, of Chapter 1123, Definitions, is hereby amended as set forth in EXHIBIT A, attached hereto and made a part herein.

Section 2.  That existing Section 1123.01, Definitions Generally; Interpretation, of Chapter 1123, Definitions, or any ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by the Mayor.
