TRANSFER OF FUNDS - Police Reserve Fund for Retirement

WHEREAS, funding was set aside for vacation and sick pay for an officer who was expected to retire; and
WHEREAS, since the officer is not retiring, it is desirable to transfer the moneys to the Police Reserve Fund for retirement, vacation, and sick pay;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of Forty-five Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($45,500) is hereby transferred from Account No. 101.211.5110, Police Salaries, to Account No. 101.991.5938, Transfer to Reserve.
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 990001, passed January 2, 1999, is hereby amended to reflect this transfer of funds.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and upon date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
