SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Income Tax Sharing Agreement

WHEREAS, a Compensation Agreement was entered into with the Gahanna Jefferson Public Schools; and

WHEREAS, the first payment under that agreement is payable by July 1, 2000; and

WHEREAS, insufficient funds were appropriated to that account to cover the amount due the Gahanna Jefferson Public Schools;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:

Section 1.  That the amount of Six Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($650,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance in the general fund to Account No. 101.343.5490, School District Compensation.

Section 2.  That ORD-0001-2000, passed January 3, 2000, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.

Section 3.  That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
