WHEREAS, in accordance with ORD-0219-2000 the City has entered into Agreement with the Ohio Department of Transportation for paving of certain areas; and
WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna is to pay the City of Columbus matching funds because they are the lead agency, and then Columbus will pay ODOT, per ORD-0219-2001;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount TWO HUNDRED THIRTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($230,000) is hereby appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.145.5541, Capital Projects, Streets.
Section 2. That ONE HUNDRED SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($160,000) was appropriated in the 2001 Appropriations to Account No. 222.331.5541, State Highway Capital Improvements, for the South Gahanna Entry, and TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($200,000) was appropriated in the 2001 Appropriations to Account No. 222.331.5541, State Highway, County Permissive Tax.
Section 3. That the City Engineer has requested a waiver of second reading.
Section 4. That this ordinance will be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
