WHEREAS, the Building Division has continued to experience a significant volume of commercial and residential building activity and anticipates multiple large projects requiring permit activity during the remainder of 2013; and
WHEREAS, the Division had already exceeded projected revenue for 2013; and
WHEREAS, additional funds are required to cover the payment of fees and costs of services to contracted service providers, Franklin County Public Health and the Ohio Department of Commerce for processing permit applications and completing any related plan reviews and project inspections;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of ONE HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($128,500) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated Balance of the General Fund to the following accounts:

$ 8,000 101.344.5246 Contract Plan Review Services
$ 70,000 101.344.5451 Plumbing Fees
$ 35,000 101.344.5247 Contract Electrical Inspections

Section 2. That ORD-0001-2013, passed January 2, 2013, is hereby amended to reflect the herein supplemental appropriations.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
