TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATIONS - ARPA Fund 2330
BODY
WHEREAS, the deadline for the City to obligate American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds is December 31, 2024; and
WHEREAS, there have been changes to projects originally identified for use of ARPA funds, including adjustments to project timelines and reductions in amounts previously anticipated; and
WHEREAS, the Administration recommends committing $876,000 of remaining ARPA funding to the Claycraft Waterline Replacement project in order to expend the remaining funds by December 31, 2026 and offset expenditures in the Water Capital Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of eight hundred seventy-six thousand dollars ($876,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated, unencumbered balance of the ARPA Fund (2330) as follows:
233.06.000.5213 - ARPA Internal Grants: $876,000
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by Council and on date of signature of approval by the Mayor.
