TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT FOR A DESKTOP COMPUTER PURCHASE FOR THE PARKS AND RECREATION DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, proposal has been received under date of September 22, 1998 for computer for the Parks and Recreation Department, and has been recommended by the Director of Network Operations; and
WHEREAS, this system will be used for the development of the Gahanna parks and recreation brochure and for parks facility registration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with DELL COMPUTER CORPORATION, One Dell Way, Round Rock, Texas 78682, in accordance with proposal quotation dated September 22, 1998, and in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That funding for this engineering is available in the 1998 Appropriations from Account No. 101.431.5515, Capital Projects, Equipment, to cover the herein costs of Two Thousand Nine Hundred Seven Dollars.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
