SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Internet Filtering
Body
WHEREAS, the Mayor desires to block certain programs availalbe on the Internet from viewing by City employees on City-owned equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of ONE THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED NINETY-NINE DOLLARS ($1,699) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in The General Fund to Account No. 101.348.5511, Capital Projects, Network, for the purpose of purchasing 100 licenses for WizGuard Internet Filtering Software for all City computers in accordance with FAX proposal dated February 3, 1998, from WIZGUARD COMPANY, 89 DEL SUR STREET, VALLEJO, CA 94591-8274.
Section 2. That Ordinance No. 980001, passed January 2, 1998, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
