TO HONOR AND COMMEND BRANDON WRIGHT FOR SERVICE AS GAHANNA CITY COUNCIL MEMBER WARD 2 REPRESENTATIVE.

WHEREAS, BRANDON WRIGHT has a great love for the City of Gahanna and wished to represent the people of Ward 2 in which he lived; and
WHEREAS, BRANDON WRIGHT came to Council meetings for months before he ran for Council to educate himself on the runnings of City Council; and
WHEREAS, BRANDON WRIGHT, ran for Council in 2011 and was elected to a 2 year term beginning January 1, 2012; and
WHEREAS, in his tenure on Council BRANDON WRIGHT served on the Parks, Service & Safety Committee, Committee of the Whole and the Parks & Development Committee of which he was chair in 2013; and
WHEREAS, BRANDON WRIGHT embraced serving on City Council and truly had a heart to represent Ward 2 and the people, being a constant open communication line with the public, and working to solve differences; and
WHEREAS, BRANDON WRIGHT will be missed by all who had the pleasure to work with him;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby honors and commends BRANDON WRIGHT for service as Gahanna City Council Ward 2 Representative and wishes him well in all future endeavors.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately after passage by this Council.
