TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO LEASE AGREEMENT WITH JEFFERSON LOCAL SCHOOL DISTRICT RECREATION COUNCIL FOR ONE YEAR

WHEREAS, for several years the City has entered into a Lease Agreement with Jefferson Local School District Recreation Council for use of their fields for the City-wide soccer program; and
WHEREAS, the current Lease Agreement has expired and it is the recommendation of the Administration that the City lease for the spring soccer season; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to authorize a new Lease Agreement for the continuity of the City-wide soccer program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into "Lease Agreement" with the Jefferson Local School District Recreation Council, said Agreement attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That Three Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($3,100) was set aside in the 2001 Appropriations, in Account No. 101.432.5421, Recreation Program Services, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature of approval by the Mayor.
