TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH BOB MCDORMAN CHEVROLET, FOR A 1-TON DUMP TRUCK FOR THE WATER/SEWER DEPARTMENT.

WHEREAS, a new 1-ton dump truck is needed for the Water/Sewer Department; and
WHEREAS, the City can access the City of Columbus Bid list for the purchase;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into purchase agreement with Bob McDorman Chevrolet, U.S. Route 33 and Gender Road, Canal Winchester, Ohio, for the purchase of a new 1-ton dump truck.
Section 2. That Thirty Six Thousand Five Hundred Seventeen Dollars ($36,517.00) has been appropriated in the 2001 Appropriations to Account Number 651.350.5512 and 661.360.5512, Water/Sewer Capital, for this purchase.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after signature approval by Mayor.
