AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH SCA OF OH, LLC (SWEEPING CORPORATION OF AMERICA) FOR STREET SWEEPING AND PARKING GARAGE CLEANING SERVICES.

WHEREAS, in November 2021, bids for the street sweeping and parking garage cleaning services contract were opened and reviewed; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive and responsible bidder is SCA of OH, LLC; and
WHEREAS, the bid price is $105,580.00 per year and the contract is for three (3) years with the provision for two (2) separate extensions of one (1) year each; and
WHEREAS, sufficient funds will be set aside in 2022 appropriations to cover the cost.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Contract with SCA of OH, LLC (Sweeping Corporation of America) 4141 Rockside Rd., Suite 100, Seven Hills, OH 44131 for street sweeping and parking garage cleaning services; said Contract attached hereto as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of ONE HUNDREAD FIVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED-EIGHTY DOLLARS ($105,580.00) will be set aside in 2022 appropriations.
Section 3. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
