RECOGNIZING WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 1998 AS SENIOR CITIZEN DAY

WHEREAS, Gahanna has a vibrant, exhilarating group of senior citizens who participate in many community service projects as well as events sponsored by our senior citizen program and others throughout Central Ohio; and
WHERES, Gahanna wishes to honor and commend these fine people who have given of their time and talents to all of us; and
WHEREAS, May 13, 1998 has been set aside as Senior Citizen Day in Gahanna;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna, wish to honor our senior citizens and thank them for the rich part they play in our community.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall take effect and be in force immediately from and after its passage by this Council and approval of the Mayor.
