TO ACCEPT DEED OF EASEMENT FOR A 16' WATERLINE ALONG TAYLOR ROAD AND SCIENCE BOULEVARD FROM VALUE RECOVERY GROUP, INC.

WHEREAS, the City of Gahanna has received a Deed of Easement from Value Recovery Group, Inc. for waterline purposes for property near Taylor Road and Science Boulevard; and
WHEREAS, the waterline is necessary to maintain adequate flow and pressure to Niagara Bottling facility on Eastgate Parkway as well as any future major commercial developments in Central Park; and
WHEREAS, this deed of easement was recorded by the Franklin County Recorder's office on September 26, 2014; and
WHEREAS, the City Engineer has determined the value of this easement to be $1950; and
WHEREAS, it is desirable to accept this Deed of Easement;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council hereby accepts the DEED OF EASEMENT for the purpose of constructing, using and maintaining all public utilities above and below the surface of the ground and appurtenant works for the waterline easement for property near Taylor Road and Science Boulevard; said Deed of Easements attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
