TITLE
AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE GAHANNA CONVENTION & VISITORS BUREAU (CVB) FOR THE YEARS 2024-2028 FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROMOTING TOURISM AND ATTRACTING VISITORS TO THE CITY
BODY
WHEREAS, the City desires entering into an agreement with the Gahanna Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) for the purpose of bringing the patronage and business of tourists and cultural, educational, religious, professional, and sports organizations into the City; and
WHEREAS, the term of the Agreement begins on January 1, 2024 and extends up to and including December 31, 2028.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into an Agreement with the Gahanna Convention & Visitors Bureau, 110 Mill Street Gahanna, Ohio 43230, for the purpose of promoting tourism and attracting visitors to the City; said Agreement attached hereto as EXHIBIT A and made a part herein.
Section 2. That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
