TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PERSONAL SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF GAHANNA AND MEACHAM & APEL ARCHITECTS, INC., FOR PLAN REVIEW SERVICES.

WHEREAS, the City is required to have plans reviewed by an architect and the Director of Development has recommended that we proceed with Meacham & Apel; and
WHEREAS, said contract would be for a period of one year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Personal Services Contract with MEACHAM & APEL ARCHITECTS, INC.,6161 Riverside Drive, Suite A, Dublin, Ohio 43017, for plan review services for the City of Gahanna; contract attached to this ordinance as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($25,000) was set aside in the 2008 Appropriations in Account No. 101.344.5246, Building, Contract Plan Review Services, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
