SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Gahanna Dispute Resolution Center

WHEREAS, the Gahanna Dispute Resolution Center has requested a grant of $10,000 to provide mediation and training services for residents of Gahanna and of the East and Northeast areas of Central Ohio; and
WHEREAS, these services proved to be very valuable to the City of Gahanna over the last year, especially for the Police Department;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($10,000) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.135.5415, Grant, Dispute Resolution.
Section 2. That ORD-1-2001, passed January 2, 2001 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this grant is being given after City Council received and reviewed the 2000 Annual Report from the Dispute Resolution Center along with the 2001 budget and other funding proposals.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
