TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO RENEW CONTRACT FOR AT&T ILEC LOCAL PRIVATE LINE SERVICE, T1 LINE, FOR THE SERVICE AND PARKS FACILITY, 152 OKLAHOMA AVENUE.

WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Technology has recommended that we proceed with AT&T ILEC for T1 line for a one year contract for the Service and Parks Facility at 152 Oklahoma Avenue; and
WHEREAS, during this contract period the City will be evaluating future needs and plans to extend our fiber optic network to the Service and Parks facility in 2013 thereby eliminating the need for private Internet service at the facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with AT&T CORP., 150 East Gay Street, Columbus, Ohio 43215, for AT&T ILEC for T1 line for a period of one year; Contract attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
