RESOLUTION TO HONOR AND COMMEND ROBERT SOMMERS FOR WORK ON THE 2000 GAHANNA HOLIDAY PARADE AND FESTIVAL

WHEREAS, ROBERT SOMMERS, has served on the Blue Ribbon Committee for Gahanna Events, Inc., and provided breakfast for every monthly meeting of the Blue Ribbon Committee, and helped in the planning and implementation of the 2000 Gahanna Holiday Lights Parade and Festival held on November 25, 2000; and
WHEREAS, it was the dedication and hard work and perseverance of ROBERT SOMMERS and other members of the Blue Ribbon Committee, that made the festival the success it was;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna, do hereby honor and commend ROBERT SOMMERS for exemplary service to the community with involvement in the Gahanna Holiday Lights Parade and Festival.
Section 2. That this resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
