SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION - Safety Town

WHEREAS, Safety Town has been a program of the Gahanna Police Department and Mifflin Township Fire Deaprtment for 20 years; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed to replace equipment and to purchase a trailer for storage of their supplies; and
WHEREAS, $5,000 of the $10,000 cost for the trailer and replacement vehicles has been raised privately; and
WHEREAS, Mifflin Township has agreed to fund a portion of the remainder of the cost;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the amount of TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED Dollars ($2,500) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.212.5271, Safety Town.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001 is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
