TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH TRICAR LTD FOR A SITE ASSESSMENT REPORT FOR FUEL TANK REMOVAL AT THE SERVICE COMPLEX ON OKLAHOMA AVENUE; TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $24,800 THEREFOR; AND TO DECLARE AN EMERGENCY

WHEREAS, the next step in the fuel tank removal at the Service Complex is the site assessment required by BUSTR; and
WHEREAS, this project must be completed by September 29, 1999 with the information to BUSTR by that date; and
WHEREAS, it is imperative to move forward immediately for the work to be done in a timely fashion all for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and welfare;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with TriCar Ltd, 6237 Wynford Drive, Dublin, OH 43016 for the site assessment report regarding fuel tank removal at the Gahanna Service Complex on Oklahoma Avenue.
Section 2. That the amount of TWENTY FOUR THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLARS ($24, 800) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance in the General Fund to Account No. 101.141.5511, Capital Projects Lands & Buildings.
Section 3. That Ordinance No. 990001, passed January 2, 1999, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
