TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH CJI RESEARCH CORPORATION TO CONDUCT A RESIDENT SURVEY FOR GAHANNA.

WHEREAS, the Mayor's office solicited proposals to perform a survey of residents of the City; and
WHEREAS, proposals were received and reviewed and the Mayor is recommending we proceed with CJI Research; and
WHEREAS, funding for this survey has been appropriated;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into Agreement with CJI RESEARCH CORPORATION, 180 South Ardmore Road, Columbus, Ohio 43209, to conduct a citizen survey of Gahanna residents; said agreement and proposal attached hereto as EXHIBIT A.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of THIRTY FOUR THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED THIRTY FIVE DOLLARS ($34,135) was set aside in the 2008 Appropriations to Account No. 101.122.5261, Capital Improvement, Resident Survey.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
