RESOLUTION TO APPROVE PAYMENT OF SERVICES PERFORMED PRIOR TO FINANCE DEPARTMENT’S CERTIFICATION OF AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS.
BODY
WHEREAS, Funds were not encumbered for the deductible for Legal Services prior to the initiation of the Case of Burica v. City of Gahanna in the amount of $5,000.00 from account 101.03.000.5205 - Law Contract Services; and,
WHEREAS, The Director of Finance has certified that funds were available then at the time of purchase and now at the time of payment, appropriated, collected or in the process of collection and free from any previous encumbrance,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, COUNTY OF FRANKLIN, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1: In accordance with ORC. 5705.41(D), the following payment for services performed prior to the Finance Department’s certification of availability of funds shall be and is hereby approved:
Five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) from account 101.03.000.5205 -
Law Contract Services.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
