WHEREAS, the taping system in Council Chambers for recording our meetings dates back to 1994 when we moved into this building and is beyond its life span and is failing; and
WHEREAS, additionally the remote that turns the ceiling mounted projectors on in Chambers is failing and a replacement remote is no longer made; and
WHEREAS, Council has authorized the Clerk of Council to proceed to update the recording equipment and remedy the problem with the projectors, and a supplemental is needed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That funding in the amount of FORTY ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($4,100) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unencumbered, unappropriated balance of the General Fund to Account No. 101.111.5510, Council, Minor Capital.
Section 2. That ORD-0001-2012, passed January 2, 2012, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
