TO HONOR AND COMMEND THOMAS M. GREGORY

WHEREAS, THOMAS M. GREGORY, has been awarded the Time Warner Cable "Columbus Educator Award" for the last three years with the following projects; producing a Gahanna History Video in 1998, Media Literacy Project Collaboration in 1999, and Empathy and Responsibility Collaboration with the Multiple Handicapped Class in 2000; and
WHEREAS, THOMAS M. GREGORY, received the "National Crystal Apple Award" from Time Warner Cable for the Media Literacy Project in 1999, and also received the ESPN Local Award for Sports Figures in 1999; and
WHEREAS, THOMAS M. GREGORY, was among the Who's Who Among American Educators in 1997; and
WHEREAS, THOMAS M. GREGORY, has produced a Video Yearbook since 1991, and has produced videos for the Eastland/Fairfield Levy, Dress Code, Gahanna-Jefferson Levy, Environmental specials, and participated in a Non-violence Film Festival sponsored by the Buckeye Boys Ranch, and taped the Gahanna Holiday Lights parade; and
WHEREAS, THOMAS. M. GREGORY, has been an exemplary example of an educator and a great asset for the Gahanna-Jefferson School system, and is commended on the excellence he has achieved in his teaching career;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA; STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That this Council and Administration, on behalf of the citizens of Gahanna, do hereby commend THOMAS M. GREGORY for his years of service and excellence with the Gahanna-Jefferson Schools, and for the awards received, and wish him well in all of his future endeavors.
Section 2. That this Resolution shall be in full force and effect immediately upon passage by this Council.
