TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO CONTRACT WITH W.E.C. ENGINEERS OF OHIO, INC., FOR HUNTERS RIDGE STORM WATER PROJECT.

WHEREAS, five proposals were obtained by the Service Department for consideration of the Hunters Ridge storm water project for design of a detention basin; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has recommended we proceed with W.E.C., as their proposal was the most responsive and complete;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into contract with W.E.C. ENGINEERS OF OHIO, INC., 3455 Mill Run Drive, Suite 310, Hilliard, Ohio 43026, for Hunters Ridge Storm Water Project for the design of a detention basin in the Hunters Ridge Subdivision; Contract attached as EXHIBIT A, and made a part herein.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of FIFTY FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS ($55,000) was set aside in the 2008 Appropriations to Account No. 631.350.5596, Storm Capital Projects/Improvements, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and 30 days after date of signature approval by the Mayor.
