TO AMEND THE CONTRACT WITH MOODY NOLAN LTD INC., FOR THE MORSE ROAD/US 62 INTERSECTION ENGINEERING SERVICES, IMPROVEMENT NO. 753; TO TRANSFER AND TO REALLOCATE FUNDS.

WHEREAS, ORD-32-2001 authorized the Mayor to enter into Contract with Moody Nolan Ltd, for engineering design services for the Morse Road/US 62 Intersection; and
WHEREAS, request was made by the City Engineer to amend the contract to increase funding for environmental work and the preliminary design on two bridges;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into amended contract with MOODY NOLAN LTD INC., 1776 East Broad Street, Columbus Ohio 43203-2039, for continued engineering design for the Morse Road/US 62 intersection, Improvement No. 753.
Section 2. That funding in the amount of SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($68,200) was appropriated to Account No. 101.145.5541, Capital Projects, Streets, and is hereby transferred to Account No. 101.145.5533, Capital Projects Engineering.
Section 3. That funding in the amount of SIXTY EIGHT THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED DOLLARS ($68,200) is reallocated to the Morse Road/US 62 Intersection project from the Taylor Station/Claycraft Intersection project.
Section 4. That ORD-1-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this transfer of funds.
Section 5. That this legislation shall be in full force and effect upon passage by this Council and thirty days after signature approval by the Mayor.
