TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO AGREEMENT WITH THE GOLF CAR AND EQUIPMENT COMPANY FOR GOLF CAR RENTAL.

WHEREAS, letter quotes have been received from three companies by the Director of Parks and Recreation, and he is recommending the lowest, most responsible quote to Council to proceed with rental of golf cars for the 1999 season;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO:
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into agreement with The Golf Car & Equipment Co., 3790 East Fifth Avenue, Columbus, Ohio 43219, for 20 1997 E-Z-GO Golf Cars with bag rack and canopy tops, for the Gahanna Municipal Golf Course in accordance with City specifications.
Section 2. That the amount of Eleven Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty Dollars ($11,980) has been appropriated in the 1999 appropriations to Account No. 101.433.5427, Cart Rental, to cover the herein costs.
Section 3. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect at the earliest period allowed by law.
