TO AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO ENTER INTO PURCHASE AGREEMENT WITH J.D. EQUIPMENT, INC., FOR TWO MOWERS AND A LOADER, FOR THE PARKS DEPARTMENT, AND TO SUPPLEMENTALLY APPROPRIATE $5700.

WHEREAS, new mowers and a loader is needed for the Parks Department; and
WHEREAS, all items are a part of the annual J.D. Equipment Trade-In Program;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GAHANNA, STATE OF OHIO;
Section 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into purchase agreement with J.D. Equipment, Inc., 1660 U.S. Rte. 42 NE, London, Ohio, for the purchase of two mowers and a loader.
Section 2. That Five Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars ($5,700) is hereby supplementally appropriated from the unappropriated unencumbered balance of general fund to Account 101.431.5515, Parks, Capital Equipment.
Section 3. That ORD-0001-2001, passed January 2, 2001, is hereby amended to reflect this supplemental appropriation.
Section 4. That this ordinance shall be in full force and effect after passage by this Council and on date of signature approval by the Mayor.
